Triple Super Phosphate (TSP) is one of the most concentrated phosphate fertilizers available commercially, containing a minimum of 46% phosphorus pentoxide (P₂O₅). Unlike DAP and MAP, TSP provides phosphorus without any nitrogen content, making it the preferred choice when growers need to supply phosphorus independently of their nitrogen management program. Its high water solubility ensures that phosphorus is readily available to plant roots shortly after application, supporting rapid root establishment and early-stage crop development.

TSP is produced by reacting finely ground phosphate rock with phosphoric acid. This process yields monocalcium phosphate (Ca(H₂PO₄)₂), a highly plant-available form of phosphorus. The resulting granules are dense, uniform, and well-suited for mechanical spreading and bulk blending with other fertilizer products.
