I founded Intentions Institute Inc. on a simple belief: that commodity trading should serve a greater purpose than profit alone. Having spent over a decade navigating international markets across Africa, the Middle East, and Central Asia, I witnessed how access to essential goods — fuel, food, fertilizers — has the power to transform communities and entire economies. I also saw how broken supply chains and unreliable intermediaries left those same communities underserved. That is why I built this company.

At Intentions Institute, we operate with integrity at every level. Our relationships with refineries, producers, and logistics partners are built on transparency, verified quality, and long-term commitment. We do not chase volume. We build supply chains that our buyers trust and commercial terms that our suppliers respect. This philosophy has guided us from our first transaction and continues to define every deal we close today.

From our roots in Canadian agricultural exports, we have grown into a diversified trading firm spanning four commodity sectors: food products, refined fuels, precious metals, and fertilizers. Every expansion has been deliberate. We enter new markets only when we have the expertise, the partnerships, and the infrastructure to deliver with the same consistency our clients have come to expect.

Today, Intentions Institute operates across more than thirty countries and trades over fifteen distinct commodity products. But numbers alone do not capture what drives us. I take the greatest pride in the relationships we have built — with refinery partners in Kazakhstan and the UAE, with agricultural cooperatives in Canada and Turkey, and with buyers across emerging markets who depend on us for consistent, specification-compliant supply.

Looking forward, we are deepening our capabilities in energy trading and maritime logistics while expanding our reach into new regions where our expertise can create real value. We are also investing in our advisory practice to help organizations entering commodity markets navigate the regulatory, logistical, and commercial complexities that define this industry.
